Audiovisual visionary with over twenty years of experience.

Trained as an editor and graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, he developed a strong interest in archives, particularly through the production of historical documentaries. His first found footage works date back to 1999, with videos straddling the analog and digital worlds, in which the physical medium of the images becomes the protagonist. Fever

In recent years, his research has focused on the reuse of images, creating video installations, remixes, mashups and found footage works. The video-music project Tamed Archive it kept him busy throughout 2021. After graduating in Film Editing from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome (2003), he began working as an editor in the audiovisual industry. His curiosity has led him to explore both underground cinema and the contemporary art world.

Following participation in several festivals, including InvideoXX 2010 with Three farewells, embarked on a research path focused on found footage, remix and mashup. Invited to discuss with Derrick de Kerckhove at the Internet Festival in Pisa, he presented the video Bank Robbers, then turned into an’installation analogue.

In 2012, she took part in the historical exhibition The Expanded Gaze, Italian Artist Cinema 1912-2012, curated by Bruno Di Marino, Marco Meneguzzo and Andrea La Porta. They also participated in the Media Art Festival, curated by Valentino Catricalà. In 2018, with the support of Light Cone Paris, created the audiovisual project In the Backward of Time, presented in competition at the Szczecin Film Festival and then at the Pesaro Film Festival.

In 2017 he was invited to the MAMbo in Bologna to Sensitive Body. The work Porthole it is acquired by the Museum of Mediterranean Weavings in Gibellina, where he also created the first video mapping on the apse of the Quaroni Church for Gibellina Photoroad, curated by Arianna Catania. In 2020 she took part in the photography festival Reopenings from Ferrara. He lives between Milan and Rome.
